SQL DBA - Azure - Fully remote - £55K

Client in financial services looking to add to their talented database team with a fully remote DBA.

Although mainly on premise support, the company are making the move into the cloud space which will likely be a large proportion of the role moving forward.

I'm looking for a DBA with strong experience in SQL Server (up to 2019), Powershell as well as performing back ups, restores, disaster recovery etc.

  • Performance Tuning and Optimisation of the highest standard.
  • Delivering High Availability and AlwaysOn.
  • Some development and automation with Azure and Powershell/Jenkins.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with large databases (1TB+) and large volumes of databases (100+)
  • Extensive experience with SQL Server (up to 2019)
  • Maintaining high availability of all databases

Benefits

  • Salary of up to £55,000 plus great benefits including discretionary bonus.
  • Very good pension.
  • Remote role.
