Special Needs Teaching Assistant

A Runcorn Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience who is available for full-time work after the Easter half-term.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be providing support in a Resource Base within a mainstream Primary School. Due to the needs of the children, the school will only accept applications from qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants (or above).

Your role will be to support children on a 1-1 or small group basis under the direction of the class teacher. Previous experience of differentiating work in order to make learning accessible for children is vital.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
• SEN experience
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
