I am currently recruiting for a talented individual with style & confidence. The experienced Sous Chef will have opportunity to help regularly change the menu including weekly specials. The Sous Chef role is vital in the overall success of the kitchen team so we are looking for a Chef who is passionate about delivering a great guest experience with excellent food.
The duties will include the following:
Prepare, cook and present food for customers
Ensure that high standards are maintained in the quality of food, both as to its preparation and presentation
Receipt and storage of provisions; monitoring stock rotation and ensuring that all food is labelled clearly and correctly
Aid in the training of junior staff
Any other reasonable duties required by the Head Chef
The successful Sous Chef will be hard working, have a positive attitude, the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to manage a team of chefs in the kitchen.
Applicants will already be working as a Sous Chef with a flair for cooking using the freshest of seasonal and local ingredient and the ability to cook food using modern and traditional methods and techniques.
The client offers a competitive salary of £24 - £30k per annum DOE.
