Our client, a busy gastro pub set in a beautiful village on the outskirts of Saffron Walden, are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join their strong brigade of chefs.

Using locally sourced ingredients, this establishment pride themselves on producing quality dishes which ensure repeat custom from locals and tourists alike.

An experienced, enthusiastic individual is required to take on the role for this reputable Gastro Pub. This beautiful pub is known for producing and presenting a high standard of fresh food.

In this role you will be working closely alongside the Head chef to help develop new ideas for their al a carte menu and daily changing specials board. This fast-paced environment requires a person who will work closely in the brigade and under intense pressure whilst maintaining excellent communication skills.

The ideal Sous Chef will have a real passion for fantastic food and presentation. Whilst being able to work in a team, they should take their own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas, always looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.

Due to the location, a car driver is essential.
