A village pub in Surrey is currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team
Working at an upmarket, food led pub this role of Sous Chef will see you joining the open plan kitchen at the property that has a team of seven working in it. The pub offers exciting menus with dishes that aim to showcase the best of British produce which is prepared in house to the high standards implemented by the Head Chef. In this role of Sous Chef you will be cooking for 50-70 covers midweek followed by 90+ at the weekends so must be able to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
A Sous Chef who is used to cooking in a fresh food kitchen and have gained the cooking abilities to work well under pressure whilst managing others in a busy kitchen. It is important that you are a strong chef with a stable background who can assist the Head Chef with the day to day management of the department whilst remaining very hands on.
