A village inn located within the Ambleside region of Cumbria is recruiting for a Sous Chef role
A country inn that has been fully refurbished is seeking a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team who cater for an all day dining restaurant operation that offers lunch and dinner menus as well as specials and snacks. The food offered at the property is prepared using regional produce from the local area in order to create classic dishes with modern twists that offer a hearty meal for the many walkers that frequent the venue. In this Sous Chef position you will be working closely with a strong Head Chef who has full autonomy to run the kitchen and create the menus so will train you in kitchen management as well as offering you an input on the creation of the menus.
A Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef who is seeking a new role where you can continue to develop your kitchen management knowledge as well as cooking to a high standard. The ability to maintain high cooking standards whilst working in a busy kitchen environment is essential for this position.
