Software Engineer

Position Available: Software Engineer

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid) & Dynamic Working Hours

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Paid Overtime & Company Bonus & Very Good Pension Package

Experience needed: Experience of software engineering within a complex, high-technology engineering industry e.g. defence, aerospace, automotive, robotics, electronics, medical devices and similar. Ideally, you'll have some exposure to RF technology across the full product lifecycle.

We currently have vacancies available for software engineers at all levels to work in several areas across the business. We are looking for people who are skilled in any of the following areas:

• Embedded C
• Embedded C++
• Real Time Engineering
• Design and development
• Verification and validation
• Software project management/leading projects from a technical perspective

Any experience in the following is a bonus:

• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (Physics, Electronics, Software, Aerospace or similar)
• Experience in a relevant engineering industry
• Experience with good software engineering practices across the full development lifecycle
• Experience of working in an agile development environment
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced members of the team
• Basic understanding of project management processes
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to plan and control your work
