Software Developer - C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework, Microservices - Hybrid working (once every 2 weeks in the office in Bolton) - Salary between £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience plus benefits including pluralsight training subscription, healthcare scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

They require a highly motivated Software Developer to join their dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power their business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) platforms. You will be responsible for building high-performance backend microservices using C# and .Net Core 6+, whilst collaborating effectively with cross functional teams to define, design, and implement new features for varying platforms and third-party integrations. You will participate in the creation of microservices responsible for supporting diverse business logic, catering to applications that utilise these services.

What are they looking for

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .Net 6+, an understanding of event-driven architecture (queues and consumers), and experience in containerisation with Docker.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and its principles.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems using queues and consumers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative agile environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient with version control systems such as Git
