Software Developer (C++)
Cowes, Isle of Wight/hybrid

A growing software solutions company is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join its team. If you have 5+ years of experience in C++ software development and a strong background in software design, implementation, and testing, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review software requirements, functional specs, and design documents.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Create white-box tests, including automated unit tests.
• Lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in C++ development.
• Experience in the development of complex software components in C++
• Experience inplanning and execution of development projects,including estimation, risk management and time management
• Experience in team leadership,including the development of team members.

Desirable:

• Experience with Microsoft IDE, DevOps, .NET, and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and C++ 2017 standards.
