Summary of Position:
This post will suit a first or second degree graduate who will provide firmware & software engineering capability for development and testing of a range of ecoSUB Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). This project is primarily a collaboration between Planet Ocean Limited and the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) but the successful candidate will be an employee of Planet Ocean ltd.
The post will be based in the Marine Autonomous Robotics Innovation Centre (MARIC) at the NOC Southampton where you will work collaboratively with other employees of Planet Ocean Ltd, colleagues from the NOC and external partners to deliver the required electronic systems. This post will be primarily responsible for the software design and integration on the AUV.
