Account Manager with ERP or Accounting Software Sales experience, this is an office-based Account Management role based between Stockport and Wilmslow working for a professional and energised ERP software solutions company with a solid reputation. On offer is a competitive base salary to £50k with an OTE of £80-90k, car allowance, and top up bonuses over target.
They are looking for an Account Manager who has worked with ERP software (or similar applications such as accounting software, construction software, property management software, dealer management software etc.) and has a proven track record.
Your primary role will be to look after the relationships with existing customers, building on loyalty, plus upselling a portfolio of add-on ERP products, new software releases, business services, cloud services and support contracts. There will be some field based work promoting additional services and software upgrades.
You need to be able to maintain and build these relationships, inspiring trust and confidence and ensuring that clients are happy and satisfied with their service offering and ensuring that you spot and then optimise opportunities to sell and promote additional products, support services and licenses. You will focus on gaining repeat business and managing client expectations. Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent command of spoken and written English are essential.

The ERP solutions they sell are aimed at mid-market companies across manufacturing, distribution, sales, Supply Chain, House Building, Wholesale, Rentals, Construction and Engineering.
Candidates will have previous experience as an Account Manager working with accounting or ERP software solutions such as Deltek, Pinewood, Sage 200, Sage Enterprise Management (X3), Sage 500, Access Dimensions, Kerridge, Exchequer, Greentree, Infor M3, SunSystems, SAP Business One, PS Financials, SAP Business ByDesign, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Epicor, Pegasus Opera, Dealer Management Systems or similar application software.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the software industry
- A consultative soft sell attitude
- Knowledge of ERP, Accounting or other similar application software
- Ability to qualify and develop new opportunities
- A track record of generating increased revenue from an existing client base
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
