Snr Chef de Partie Oxfordshire- £23K Basic plus tips, £25K + package
We are looking to recruit a seasoned Chef de Partie to join the team at this soon to be open restaurant & bar based just a mile from the Oxford city centre. Part of a small group, this restaurant & cocktail bar specialises in 'small plates', or sharing options using quality, freshly sourced produce. The menu is quite heavily Mediterranean influenced, though they also have some other International influences also, including Asian. They are based in a busy part of Oxford, renowned for its food scene & culture.
Working in a team of just 5, you will have real responsibility in this kitchen and will be given the opportunity to get involved with some mild back office duties also. You will also manage the junior members of staff and will be responsible for keeping an eye on the food they deliver to make sure it meets spec.
This new venture is going to be a really busy place, sat right at the heart of the community in this area of the city centre.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie for this new Oxfordshire venture that has a fresh cooking background and who has a real passion for quality produce and presentation. Your background isn't important, though a small brasserie, fresh food pub or restaurant background would be ideal, or a fresh food branded chain.
This Chef de Partie role in Oxfordshire will see you work around 45-50 hours per week, with splits & straight shifts expected.
The salary being offered is £22-£23K + equal share of the tips, which is difficult to predict being a new opening but should be another £3000 + at least base don their other ventures.
