Title: Snowflake Data Engineer - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Remote
Pay rate: 450-650 per day dependent on skill set 

Position Overview: As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Snowflake data platform. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage, enabling seamless data access and analytics across the organization. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Snowflake.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into Snowflake.
  • Optimize performance and efficiency of Snowflake data warehouse through tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including data models, ETL processes, and system configurations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in Snowflake and data engineering.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Snowflake data platform.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake SQL extensions.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, storage, and compute resources.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and schema design in Snowflake.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
