Site Manager

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Deputy Site Manager to join the team located in London. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the overall delivery of all FOH & soft services.

Role Summary:

  • Detailed understanding of service standards and deliverables in line with Contract, SLA / SLS, ensuring all soft services operational team’s understanding is aligned
  • Act as the key customer interface for all soft services between site based customers and FM Workplace Solutions
  • Promote productive relationships with CBRE and supply partners
  • Lead the strategic development of overall services
  • Manage quality, standards and service delivery at the portfolio to meet agreed service levels
  • Manage Client Budgets to deliver both Client requirements and CBRE profitability levels
  • Manage CBRE GWS Site Budget
  • Responsible for site compliance with latest legislation / regulations
  • Operate and comply with CBRE & agreed SMS & Business processes / procedures
  • Control and manage operating budgets across all services
  • Produce financial reports (Forecasts and Accruals) at required intervals
  • Coordinate elements of the site business plan
  • Maintain a proactive relationship with the Client and understand the portfolio based businesses’ current / future requirements
  • Proactively support and deliver a collaborative and co-operative environment across the FM workplace Solutions team
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are communicated in training
  • Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls
  • Report of all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies
  • Manage suppliers and collaborate with supply partners, resolving service issues as they arise
  • Provide accurate / timely reports on performance of suppliers
  • Support implementation of CBRE operational initiatives and hard / soft services projects
  • Manage performance, motivate, train and develop team to ensure objectives are met, and performance bar is continually raised


Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in a managerial role or related service environment
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Competent with localised budgetary and P&L control knowledge
  • Experience in contract management and measurement
  • Experience working in a change management environment
  • Sound understanding of continuous improvement / problems solving process
  • PC Literate - MS Office Applications
  • Facilities / Premises Management
  • Customer service / hospitality or soft services knowledge
  • Sound understanding of Health Safety and Environmental issues
  • Ability to interpret policy / legislation and implement across all working practices
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good oral and written skills
  • Sound problem solving ability
  • Strong time management skills
