We are seeking a skilled Shot Blaster to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. As a Shot Blaster, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for coating by using abrasive blasting techniques. You will work on various projects, ensuring that surfaces are properly cleaned and prepared to meet our clients' specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform abrasive blasting operations using shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for coating applications.
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Inspect surfaces for cleanliness, texture, and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot shot blasting equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines to meet client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shot Blaster or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or construction setting
- Proficiency in operating shot blasting equipment and tools
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices related to abrasive blasting operations.
