Shift Leader, Day Shift (Warehouse Management)

My client is a multinational company with over 500 stores across 20 countries and is still growing. They lead within their sector across four categories which focus on luxury products , liquor, beauty and confectionery. The company supports staff through and have a culture that is second to none which is why so may be people have been there for years. They believe in promoting staff and encourage ambitious people to enrol on the training courses throughout the year.

Job Role: Shift Leader (Warehouse Manager)

You will be responsible for leading and coaching a diverse group of people within a retail and service driven environment. Operational excellence is vital to ensure your department hits warehousing and distribution targets to ensure retail outlets receive orders on time and in full. It primary focus will be to ensure that all stock is received on time, store and delivered without any issues with respect to efficiency.

The company prides itself on internal progression, which can be within logistics or could be to transfer within another area of the business. The top performers are identified and developed for opportunities across the UK and Internationally.

Shift Pattern is 4 on 4 off, early and late shifts. Night Shifts are available with a night allowance.

The Candidate

  • Management or Supervisory experience within Logistics or Distribution
  • Passion for operational excellence
  • Background in FMCG or another fast pace environment
  • Experience in beauty, Liquor or Tobacco is preferred but not essential
