TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering Division) are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Engineer for our well established food manufacturing client.
The position is on a temporary basis, minimum of 3 months which can be extended.
You will provide, as part of the Engineering department, first class support to the manufacturing facility for both reactive and planned maintenance across the site, this will include PLC controlled filling and packaging machinery and a range of automated manufacturing equipment and services. From time to time you will also be required to carry out continuous improvement projects.
Ensure performance standards, as set by the Engineering Manager, shift maintenance supervisor
and customers are met, Drive the factory forward in terms of performance improvement and innovation.
Monitor and make continuous improvements in order to help reduce break down response times
Monitor the quality of maintenance carried out and make recommendations for improvements.
Ensure PPM schedule is achieved whilst ensuring that all actions are closed out and make
recommendations for improvements.
Detailed long term projects/tasks to manage
Time served / apprentice trained maintenance engineer or electrical engineer, qualified in electrical or mechanical (ideally Electrical)
PLC knowledge is an advantage
17th edition advantage
Shift pattern: 4on / 4 off 12 hours (2 days / 2 nights, 4 off)
Overtime is available
