Service Manager- Adults Commissioning
Location: London
Length: 6 months, potentially ongoing
IR35 Status: Inside

On behalf of one of our local authority clients, we are recruiting for a Service Manager- Adults Commissioning to provide support and guidance to staff as they move towards an integrated service.

The key components of the Service Manager- Adults Commissioning:

  • Managing a team of commissioning and monitoring officers and provide commissioning expertise and guidance to help drive the service forward through a significant period of change
  • Overseeing commissioned services including social care, supported housing, continuing health care and community based services
  • Undertaking robust and regular needs assessment as part of the JSNA to establish an understanding of current and future local requirements
  • Building credible and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders including service users and carers to improve outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with both the local authority and CCG
  • Providing support to the Divisional Director of Integrated Commissioning

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable and extensive strategic commissioning experience
  • Adults social care knowledge
  • A commercial mind set and proactive attitude
  • Staff management and leadership experience
  • Previous experience of working within a local authority as well as NHS
