Senior WordPress Developer - £50,000 - Fully Remote (UK)

Join a leading digital agency that has become a go-to for global companies for the design, development and successful delivery of large-scale, user-centred digital platforms. With new clients waiting to be onboarded, they're looking to welcome a new Senior WordPress Developer to their remote-first team.

The Role:

As a Senior WordPress Developer you will be integral to the development of a wide variety of enterprise-level software solutions by leading and actively participate in project, sprint and client meetings. As a Senior member of the team you will support and guide more junior members of the team whilst also having the opportunity to grow your own skill set within the WordPress ecosystem.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop new functionality, configure installations, and choose plugins
  • Investigate and solve bug issues
  • Undertake code reviews & lead pair programming activities within the team
  • Be actively involved in project, sprint & client meetings

About you:

  • 5+ years experience WordPress or PHP experience in a commerical setting
  • Custom plugin development experience
  • Gutenberg component development
  • Worked with APIs, databases & other external data services
  • WooCommerce (or other eCommerce platform) experience is a bonus!
