RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic well established large logistics company based in Manchester. This role has been created to manage and oversee the transactional department. You will oversee a team of three transaction staff and report back to the Finance Manager.

The Role

  • Overseeing and managing the purchase ledger function
  • Processing, raising and sending out supplier invoices
  • Processing payments
  • Petty cash and expenses
  • Matching and coding invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month end processes, posting accruals and prepayments
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Overseeing and managing a team of three

The Person

  • AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Purchase Ledger experience within an accounts role
  • Experience within leading a small accounts team/people management skills
  • Understanding of or previously worked within a logistics business would be an advantage
