Senior Node.js Engineer

Senior Full Stack Node.js Engineer, £60k to £90k DOE
Remote with possible hybrid in next year (Reading, Oxford or Paddington)

I am working with a very exciting cyber security business who are scaling their Development and DevOps team. Their UK operations are currently fully remote but may be opening an office in Reading, Oxford or Paddington. They are offering some meaningful stock options as well as a good package.

They are looking for 4+ years commercial Node.js focused engineering experience and a degree in computer science or equivalent (or more practical full stack javascript and typescript full stack engineering experience).

I also can't shortlist candidates who have moved jobs every year or more. I'm afraid I can't consider candidates who are experts in other technologies and would need to "get up to speed" with Node.js. I need Node.js full stack or back end biased engineers, ideally with 1 or 2 years of React front end as well.

Requirements:
B.Sc in computer science or equivalent
4+ Years of programming experience with Node.JS (Stack is Node.js / Nest.js / React.js)
1+ Years of frontend experience (React preferred)
2+ Years experience with NoSQL and RDBMS (Postgres or similar)
Self-learner and independent

Advantage:
Experience with Elasticsearch
Experience with Typescript
Experience with React (and Redux)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Linux
Experience with cloud technologies - AWS preferred
Portfolio/Github profile that shows off your work and ability to solve problems.
