Senior Manager, Technology and Transformation Risk Oversight

Role Purpose:

Opportunity to join a financial services business to play a significant role supporting in the change and transformation of the implementation of a new cloud based core banking platform.

The business operate a fully remote / flexible working arrangement with the role holder being required in the office 1 - 2 days per month. 

Responsibilities:

Oversee the change risk framework and support the development of tools to deliver cost effective transformation of the business, risk reduction and regulatory compliance

Ensure that Group risk oversight is appropriate for all transformation projects. This includes being personally engaged with technical projects and agreeing responsibilities with Group risk colleagues for other projects.

Provide independent oversight and challenge to the activities and governance of the Transformation and Grow Change portfolios including the way in which the Program Management Office oversees, reports and challenges individual programmes and interdependencies together with its approach to managing change resources.

Interact with the business areas to support appropriate key initiatives and Change Risk framework application.

Deliver risk oversight reporting in to project steering committees, programme steering committees and Board Risk Committee attending these as required.

Oversee the adherence to the recently introduced Cloud Risk Policy and support the ongoing development of our cloud risk framework and cloud risk appetite.

Provide second line opinion and advice to support regulatory submissions connected to material outsourcing and the use of the Cloud.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in first line technology or transformation roles, or the assurance or oversight of these functions

Experience of the cloud and outsource of core systems

Experience in dealing with cross functional stakeholders at various level of seniority

Experience working in a 1LOD or 2LOD governance role is preferred but not critical
