Robertson Bell proudly announces their collaboration with a renowned educational institution, as they seek a Senior Management Accountant for a permanent role. As the Senior Management Accountant, you will:

  • Consolidate and meticulously review financial data to prepare precise and timely management accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Offer support to the wider organisation by attending occasional meetings alongside Finance Business Partners and delivering training to new staff members on financial systems and reports.
  • Assume line management responsibilities for both a qualified and a part-qualified Finance Business Partner.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Assist the Head of Finance in generating ad hoc reports and analysis, while providing support during audits and assisting the wider team as needed.

Located in Manchester, this role offers a hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home twice a week, specifically on Thursdays and Fridays. Please note, during the initial three months, candidates will be required to work on-site five days a week.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold full qualifications as an ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, or CIMA Accountant.
  • Possess experience within the education or public sector.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in similar roles, encompassing management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exhibit confident verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective liaison with stakeholders.
