About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced learning professional to join our growing Learning and Development team. We are looking for an individual who can support our drive to develop our people through various training initiatives to ensure that are employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs successfully.

The Senior Learning & Development Executive is responsible for the creation, implementation and improvement of all company-wide training and development programmes. The role will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify training and development needs, as well as designing and delivering of effective learning programs.

This role will report to the L&D Manager and will be based on site in Leicester. There will be a requirement to travel to our other sites when required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other departments, learning & development team members, our partners and other external learning providers
  • Develop and implement a strategic learning and development plan that enhances organisational goals
  • Maintain a key understanding of learning trends, best practices, and applications
  • Design and deliver non-technical training programmes across the company
  • Delivering and coordinating training sessions either face to face or via a blended learning approach, to any grade of employe
  • To review existing training materials to determine appropriateness and relevance
  • Contribute to the creation of digital learning materials

About You:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems or familiarity with induction /onboarding software is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional and modern learning methods and techniques
  • Empathetic, confident, and enthusiastic professional who recognises that individuals learn in different ways
