Job Role: Senior Front End Developer (Chinese Speaking)
Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week in London)
Salary: Up to £100K DOE

My client stands at the forefront of the iGaming sector, actively broadening its footprint in the European market. Due to their rapid growth, they're actively seeking a Mandarin-speaking Senior Front End Engineer who is ready for their next challenge, to join them 3 days a week on a hybrid basis in their state-of-the-art office based in London.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of four years of professional experience developing large-scale applications using React/TypeScript, be fluent in Mandarin and be ready for an exciting new challenge!

Requirements:

• Fluent proficiency in Mandarin or Chinese dialect.
• 4+ years of experience developing large-scale applications using React/TypeScript.
• Strong coding skills, with the ability to write clean, effective code.
• Strong understanding of programming principles (OOP, SOLID) and advanced functional programming principles.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.

Bonus if:

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with gaming products is a plus.
• Experience with WebSockets and binary communication protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in shaping technology strategies, roadmaps, and reviews by offering inventive solutions and staying abreast of the latest technologies and toolsets.
• Craft feature-rich front-end applications using React and TypeScript for our in-house or client gaming products.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with back-end developers and team members to design APIs, ensuring the development of more functional and cohesive code.
• Generate and uphold documentation, implementing best coding practices, and adhering to standards throughout the development process.
