About the Role

We have a very exciting opportunity to come and work in our Finance department based in our new stylish Head Office in Syston, Leicester.

The Senior Finance Manager will manage the collation, production, reporting, and communication on the financial performance of the business. They will play a key part in analysing and interpreting the results, ensuring accuracy and that the appropriate control and monitoring processes are in place.

  • Assisting with co-ordinating / preparing financial plans and forecasts and provide financial input to key business decisions

  • Provide strategic planning skills to the business and provide commercial finance support for business initiatives

  • Assist with control of all financial and business reporting for UK and Malta

  • Ensure company adherence to all external and internal financial regulation and policy

  • Financial liaison and relationship with stakeholders, internal and external auditors, tax advisors and other mandated business advisors requiring financial input

  • Ensure financial operational, control and reporting is SOX compliance

  • Business partnering to cost centre managers - assisting with both management/control/understanding of costs and also driving of initiatives in line with UK strategic plan

  • Develop greater understanding of revenue drivers & customer using MI tools and analysis

  • Monitoring capital spend

  • Partner with Pricing/Scheme teams to understand profitability of Customers and also develop a greater understanding of Cost Of Sales of the business

  • Deputise for the UK Director of Finance as required

  • Development of further analysis and understanding of the financial performance of the business as required

About You

  • Experienced qualified accountant (5+ year PQE)

  • Strong understanding of accounting standards / policies across continents (IFRS, UK/US,GAAP)

  • Financial and business reporting

  • Business acumen

  • Strong relationship management experience

  • Influencing skills

  • Ability to interpret and effective communication of financial information
