Senior Digital Marketing Executive

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join a leading commercial sporting and events business.

The focus of the role is to develop and deliver a full digital marketing strategy for the London Region, alongside the Marketing Manager, with the responsibility of increasing digital engagement, growing new audiences and contributing to sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the planning and implementation of the digital marketing plans with the aim of hitting specified targets and generating revenue
  • To be responsible for campaign creation and management of digital acquisition channels including PPC, Display, Paid Social and affiliates
  • Management of digital retention channels, email marketing, organic social, SEO
  • To effectively segment data and build e-communications using the CRM system
  • Management of multiple websites and management of CMS systems
  • Aid colleagues from around the business with web updates
  • Work with the social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) to develop and write appropriate content to increase engagement
  • Ensure SEO optimisation techniques are in place to help maximise organic rankings
  • Continuous development of the digital customer journey to help increase conversion rate
  • Use Google Analytics, social media reporting and overall digital data to assess the impact of each campaign
  • Make recommendations regarding the contribution of different digital marketing channels to sales to maximise ROI
  • Take ownership of the email programme by briefing, creating, sending and reporting on emails
  • Manage the digital marketing budget
  • Work with media agency to brief digital campaigns and understand their impact

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of designing and building e-communications. Experience of Audience View, Silverpop and Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous
  • Online digital advertising - understanding and knowledge of PPC, Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager and Display. Must have experience of placing advertising on these formats
  • Knowledge of SEO optimisation techniques to help maximise organic rankings
  • Knowledge of managing websites and CMS; updating content as necessary
  • Experience using digital marketing within a sales-led environment, focused on generating leads and optimising conversation rates
  • Must have the technical competence to extract data pools and assign to e-communications
  • Must be familiar with content generation for social media and how to maximise ROI
