We provide innovative software solutions to help businesses efficiently manage and optimise their B2B rebate programs. Our platform, built on AWS infrastructure, empowers our retail, distribution and manufacturing clients to streamline rebate calculation processes, enhance financial visibility and maximise profitability.

Role Overview

Join our team as a Senior DevOps Lead and help us revolutionise an important financial and commercial area of large businesses.

If so, we want you! We’re a leading Fintech SaaS company looking for a Senior DevOps Lead to join our team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading our DevOps team and driving the design, development, infrastructure architecture, and the implementation and support of our DevOps strategy.

You’ll work closely with the product team to ensure our products are delivered with the highest quality and reliability. You will help the engineering and QA teams in automatising their workflow and the release process. You will ensure that our clients benefit from an infrastructure that’s scalable, stable and secure. Our environment is AWS based. Full job spec available on demand.

The ideal candidate will have extensive AWS experience and act as an AWS expert for the team outlining best practise standards and ensuring the team and the solution meet these requirements. We are seeking a candidate that demonstrates team leadership experience and senior AWS engineering capability.

Current Development Stack

• Cloud Platform: AWS
• Current containerization tools: Kubernetes, Fargate, ECS
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool: Terraform
• Security tools such as AWS Cognito, KMS, Azure Active Directory
• Observability Dashboards: Grafana
• Programming languages: C#, Python, yaml
• Database: Aurora Postgres, RDS, Redshift
• Frameworks: ASP .NET, Hangfire, Entity Framework, Dapper
• Cache: Redis, Amazon ElastiCache
• Data processing: Apache Spark, ETL solutions AWS Glue
• Messaging: Rabbit MQ, SQS
• Reporting: AWS QuickSight, Athena, Telerik
• Logging: Amazon CloudWatch, Cloudtrail,
• SCCS: Git
• Front End: React

While the focus will stay on AWS some of the above might change. The candidate will be integral part of that decision.

Desirable Experience

• Container workloads: Kubernetes, AWS ECS, AWS Fargate
• Right-sizing of EC2 instances/workloads, autoscaling, load balancing.
• Storage solutions, AWS Aurora/RDS, Redshift
• Data pipelines/transformation: AWS Glue, Apache Spark, AWS SQS, Step Functions.

You may have experience of the following: Fintech Infrastructure Architect, Lead AWS DevOps Engineer, Cloud Solutions Manager, Senior Cloud Operations Lead, AWS Platform Specialist, DevOps Infrastructure Manager, Cloud Automation Lead, Senior Cloud Services Engineer, Fintech Systems Architect, Lead Cloud Deployment Specialist, etc.
