The Commercial Projects team, within our Energy Services (ES) business unit are responsible for delivering a wide range of commercial opportunities across ES including projects supporting Metering, SMART and ECO Obligations. We provide high quality commercial evaluations and a robust project approach that identify and deliver a number of initiatives that produce tangible business benefit.
As a Senior Commercial Analyst you will have responsibility for the development and delivery of a number of commercial initiatives across the business, this will give you exposure to a higher level of working which is great for your development and raising your own profile.
Activities include identification and analysis of opportunities, the creation of business cases, presenting recommendations to support decision making, provide commercial challenge to performance and proactively driving opportunities to ensure the benefits are realised.
Projects have to be expertly managed and controlled to ensure they are delivered effectively; you will be responsible for a wide range of activities from idea evaluation through to delivery and successful handover. You’ll do this by managing risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies to ensure successful delivery of business objectives against agreed timescales;
The environment is dynamic and fast paced; no day is ever the same with an ever changing landscape. To thrive in this role we are looking for you to be commercially astute, have bucket loads of common sense with strong business case development and commercial modelling skills. You’ll also demonstrate that you have a proven track record of delivering commercial initiatives, worked with stakeholders in multiple business disciplines and have identified risks and opportunities in a business with the ability to understand and translate complex technical and detailed requirements into high level business cases appropriate for decisions to be made (understanding the right amount of detail for the audience)

The site facilities include free car parking and subsidised canteen. You will work 37 hours a week based at the Worcester office but with some travel to other sites when necessary
