In this role, you will oversee three squads of highly skilled software engineers, managing a dynamic range of products and ensuring seamless integration. Key Responsibilities:

• Developers: Lead and guide a team of developers, overseeing their performance, evaluating skills, and providing necessary mentoring.
• Task Allocation: Effectively distribute tasks, ensuring a well-balanced workload and inspiring the team to achieve optimal productivity.
• Recruitment: Play a pivotal role in recruitment initiatives, identifying and attracting top talent to enhance the integration development team.
• Product Management: Ensure comprehensive and current documentation for product portfolios, including maintaining product roadmaps. Manage product risks, addressing aging software, failing components, and architectural vulnerabilities. Effectively handle technical debt and establish a robust support model.
• Quality Assurance: Promote quality throughout the development process, from enhancing unit test coverage to implementing automated integration tests.
• Workflow Management: Ensure a consistent flow of high-quality work aligned with team goals and objectives.
• Development Process: Collaborate with the Software Development Manager and other principals to uphold and evolve a tailored Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that meets squad and team requirements.
• Technology Integration: Stay abreast of new technical developments and evaluate their relevance to the squad's products. Test and assess new technologies, exploring their potential to address current business challenges. Conduct informative sessions to introduce new tech to interested stakeholders within the business.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Software Development Manager, other principals, and the architect to attain team goals and objectives.
