A professional services accountancy firm based in the West End of London is seeking a new senior accountant to join the team. The firm provides accounting and tax solutions, corporate finance, pension services, family office, wealth management and other specialist services to a number of high net worth individuals both UK based and overseas.
Your new role
In this position you will assist and develop the accounting function in the head office in London. You will prepare statutory and management accounts from start to finish for a number of clients and trusts in many jurisdictions. You will also be required to occasionally process tax returns. The accounting department has a number of trainees and semi seniors so you will assist the managers in supervising and training the junior members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be an ACCA or ACA fully qualified accountant currently working within an accountancy firm. You will have a proven track record of completing statutory and management accounts from preparation through to completion whilst working within UK accounting and audit standards. The firm currently uses IRIS and Sage so a practical working knowledge of these packages is desirable but not essential. You will be liaising with a number of clients so excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
