Are you a successful, passionate Account Director looking to join a performing team where you can drive growth & innovation?
Be at the front end of developing real value propositions for your customer whilst developing your career?
As a Senior Account Director, you will get to act as a senior level team operative in a strategically important Experian customer. This is one of Experian’s bigger strategic clients, but one that still has lots of room to grow. In fact, we think we are just scraping the surface and that there is so much more we could do for them. We’ll give you the freedom and tools to bring your absolute best to take it to the next level for one of Britain’s and the world’s most admired banking brands. This role is ideal for someone looking to experience a bigger client, with the passion and drive to want to scale it.
You will collaborate effectively across Experian to develop the account strategy for our assigned client, agree on prioritization of opportunities with the Strategic Client Director and other members of the Account Team. Focus on the relevant sales with account management colleagues and take responsibility for driving progress on the account, coordinating relevant touchpoints and acting as the point of coordination across Experian.
You will own renewals, expansions, new business and overall growth within a healthy book of business to ensure that you meet and exceed all performance goals.
The role will expect you to build trusted adviser relationships with key influencers and decision makers in the customers. You will be responsible for creating win-win solutions and outcomes to further the customer engagement and loyalty; to which you will build credibility through strong understanding of both Experian’s and the client’s strategy to identify and create solutions to address key client needs.
This role brings the kudos of a bigger brand and the larger opportunities, plus the potential rewards that come with that. But it is no easy sell. Often the sales are more complex, and can take several months to close.
Could this be for you?
We’re looking for someone who has a genuine interest in helping to transform the banking sector, and you will bring experience of how you have helped achieve this in your previous roles. You’ll need to show that you understand the banking or financial system and how it works. Banks, or financial services should feature as a reoccurring theme in your working background. You will need to also demonstrate where you have created significant value for your clients previously in leading sales solutions that ended up solving certain business, operational or regulatory challenges.
You need to be someone who can manage multiple 'plates spinning’ and balance both a pipeline of 'real’ opportunities to manage a consistent flow of work and revenue, whilst both simultaneously building new relationships (vertically and horizontally across the stakeholder landscape) and managing the 'day to day’ in the account whatever complexities that might throw at you. Therefore it’s important that you are someone who is cool under pressure but also maintains a good focus for completing tasks and getting BAU job’s done.
We are looking for a natural self-starter. Someone who see things through from start to finish. Who will learn from every mistake to become an even stronger employee. Someone with tenacity and drive to maximize their time and someone who has a high-performance ambition in their blood. Someone who doesn’t get all despondent when things / the chips haven’t fallen their way, but gets back up and keeps going. You’ll be the doctor of your own obstacles and look for ways to overcome internal and client challenges to succeed.
