SEN Teaching Assistant required in Bedfordshire

Your new company

This is a small and supportive specialist education institution which is based in between the Bedford and Luton areas in a lovely rural setting. The school is part residential and caters for pupils between the ages of 8 and 18 years of age who have had a difficult start to life. The pupils have a range of complex histories and needs, so will need individual support.

Your new role

The school are looking for a Qualified Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, to assist in the educational and social development of pupils. This will be a full time permanent position, with the hours being 8:30-4:30, Monday - Friday. You will be offered amazing training to progress within your career. This training will enable you to become an HLTA within the school and to be promoted to receive a salary increase.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have SEN experience to be considered for this role. Ideally, you will hold the Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. You will need to ability to work with pupils with varying needs and to monitor behaviour making sure they are receiving all the care they need.
