Semiconductor Test & Installation Engineer - Semiconductor Equipment - Cheshire - LM1178a

Job Outline:

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity now exists with a market leading provider of semiconductor process equipment, who is looking for a further Junior Test & Installation Engineer to join their team in Cheshire.

This role would suit a recent Graduate or similar, with a background or understanding of Semiconductor Equipment.

Tis role will include both on site work at my client’s facility in Cheshire, along with an element of travel to customers sites to undertake installation and service activities.

When you are not travelling you will be based at my clients facility in Cheshire, undertaking system build, test, and factory sign-off activities, prior to shipping of complete systems.

You will then take responsibility for planning, undertaking and completing system installation and user training at customer sites.

Key duties will include:

  • Plan and complete system installation and user training at customer sites.
  • Perform factory acceptance tests
  • Test Systems and sub-assemblies
  • Undertake Practical work including commissioning, fault finding and repair
  • Organise and maintain test data and procedures
  • Active involvement with post-sales support
  • Provide input and advice to sales and design team.

The role will involve an element of travelling to customer sites to undertake installation activities.

Full training will be given.

A full UK passport and UK Driving licence is essential for this role.

Experience:

Ideally you will have at least 1+ years industrial experience, and ideally have a background and understanding of semiconductor process equipment or similar.

Qualifications:

It is expected that you will be qualified to at least Degree level or higher.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.

Candidates MUST hold a full clean UK Driving Licence.
