The person for this role is an ambitious Science graduate with a real passion to inspire future generations in your love for Science. You must have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Science and a real passion for working with young people.
In this role, you will be working with both small groups and individuals helping them to make the progress they need to reach their full potential, predominantly in KS4. In return, you will receive support and guidance from collaborative department, a school that invests in training graduates looking to kick start their career as a Science Teacher to move onto Teacher Training in the very same school.
You will be part of a national drive looking to solve the STEM shortage; introducing pupils to the technical and real world applications of STEM, enabling them to understand how their world is ruled by Science, Engineering, Technology and Maths.
You will be joining a successful cohort of graduates, who are inspirational, driven and ready to kick-start their highly rewarding career. You will access to your own mentor and an excellent training structure that will equip you with the necessary skills to become confident and successful.
This is a really exciting opportunity to gain paid experience in a Science Department before going on to a PGCE or Schools Direct Programme next year.
