SANZA?Teaching Agency are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedschool caretaker to join a wonderful primary school in Newham. The role is full-time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school premises, as well as ensuring that all facilities are in good working order.

As a school caretaker, you will be required to:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, and common areas

• Carrying out regular inspections of the school to identify any repairs or maintenance that may be required

• Managing and supervising a team of cleaning staff

• Responding promptly to any reported issues and taking the necessary actions to resolve them

• Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order

• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs

• Ensuring that the school premises are secure at all times

About you:

• Must have previous experience as a school caretaker/facilities manager in a school setting

• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for creating a safe and clean learning environment for students

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
