Barker Munro recruitment, is working with a fantastic insurance brand who have a large well-established office based on the outskirts of Leicester who are now looking to add a Schemes Insurance broker to their team.

The branch serves regional and national clients in a variety of industry sectors but the team has a focus on Local Council, Charity, and Media & Entertainment Business. Working undera DUA the team manage large volumes of business through system automation.

As an Insurance Broker your primary focus is on managing new business enquiries while also contributing to the broader servicing team's functions. Primary responsibility will be efficiently addressing client and insurer requests while ensuring adherence to service standards and company procedures. This proactive role involves negotiating renewals with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and emphasises high renewal retention rates

To be considered for the role of Schemes Insurance broker, we are looking for you to possess good administration skills, solid customer service skills within an insurance broker and knowledge of working within an established insurance broking environment - commercial lines knowledge is a must and must have been gained in a UK commercial broker.

The company offer a full training programme and also a market leading benefits package and flexible home and office working options. Progress towards CII qualification would be ideal but full training and financial support will be given on this.
