Scheme Manager

An excellent opportunity has been made available by an established Housing provider in Nottinghamshire.

This is an interim 6 months contract with 30 hours per week which equates to four to five days a week. The rate of pay is £11.30 PAYE OR £14.50 Umbrella.

My client is looking for a Scheme Manager with some level of Leasehold experience, managing up to 42 properties on site.

As a Scheme Manager, you will need to promote the organisation's mission 'to enhance the quality of life for older people' by developing services that provide companionship and alleviate loneliness and as far as possible affords residents a home for life.

Your prime responsibilities as a Scheme Manager will be to efficiently manage the operational requirements of the leasehold units , achieve company objectives and establish the leasehold part of the business on a firmer footing.

As part of your role, you will also be responsible for leading, controlling, motivating and directing personnel in customer facing roles, with a strong focus on delivering results.

You will need to possess excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, flair, an outgoing personality, with a hands on management approach and the ability to influence others

You will be tasked with ensuring effective operational policies, procedures and management systems are in place and staff are trained in their application.

Furthermore, you will need to build an alliance with colleagues managing the organisation's services in Nottingham to ensure they continue to respond to the needs of older people living in the community.

You will need to analyse income figures and devise appropriate marketing and revenue management strategies.

You will need to ensure that systems are set up in relation to repairs reporting so that the residents and property services team clearly understand the requirements in relation to leasehold units and their restrictions of the lease.

An integral part of your role will be the line management of site based staff

As a Scheme Manager, you will need to actively work with the Regional Finance Manager and the Business Manager to produce the annual finance budget and process invoices and payments in line with procedures .

You will need to monitor all costs to maximise efficiency. In particular payroll costs to be managed within budget while ensuring adequate cover of all business areas.

You will need to monitor the company financial control systems by close liaison with the Finance Manager.
