SAP Finance Data Lead

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exceptional opportunity to lead and support the upgrade to SAP 4/HANA? MBDA is seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance Data Lead to join our Manufacturing UK Finance team in Bolton.

Job Title: SAP Finance Data Lead

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience 

Location: Bolton (we may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 3 to 4 days per week on-site, due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

This is not a role where you will be operating as a Developer; instead, you are the primary point of contact and key Super User.

As the SAP Finance Data Lead, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in the upgrade process by supporting the Controlling team for the SAP 4/HANA upgrade.

Your extensive knowledge of SAP Controlling processes will be put to use as you work closely with our consultants to ensure a smooth transition to SAP 4/HANA. You will have direct involvement in system set-up and customisation of rules, master data management, and technical and business process knowledge.

As a member of our European implementation team, you will work closely with colleagues from different locations to achieve process harmonisation and provide customised solutions for the UK.

Take ownership of the overall development of the Manufacturing to Finance process flows

Influence at all levels to ensure accurate costing methodologies across multi-national group entities

What we're looking for from you:

• Proven experience in SAP Controlling environment and the ability to navigate complex processes

• Strong analytical skills to determine the most effective solutions

• Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at various levels.

• Solid knowledge of SAP Finance module (FICO) and understanding of all modules relevant for Controlling (MM/PS/SD/PM/PP/EWM)

• An understanding of Finance is a pre-requisite
