The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Lead to work on the implementation and configuration of a new Salesforce platform. You will be involved in planning, designing, leading, and delivering the growth and development of Salesforce, setting the standards for best practice around coding, repos and pipelines, coaching and mentoring junior members and engaging with users and stakeholders from across the organisation. 

You’ll be integral to the day-to-day management and development of the Salesforce environment and team which will include regular major and minor developments, as well as driving process and efficiency in the approach to Salesforce. 

Responsibilities
  • Taking the lead in building clean, secure, and functionally rich Salesforce solutions that bring benefit to the business and its users.
  • Actively leading, mentoring, and coaching members of the Salesforce team. Overseeing their workloads, development and performance leading to a well performing team.
  • Leveraging your tech know-how, you uncover solutions for business needs that haven't even been articulated yet.
  • Working collaboratively with multiple IS and project teams and the wider business to consistently enhance and improve our Salesforce offering to enable real benefit to our customers and colleagues.
  • Proactively managing the environments, performance, data quality and updates of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Taking an active, leading input in key ceremonies such as daily stand up, sprint planning and retrospectives as well as continuously challenge and drive to improve our Salesforce development processes and activities.
  • Participation, monitoring and leading in the resolution of live incidents working closely with the relevant people to inform key stakeholders and quickly fix issues.

The Person
Candidates will need;

•    At least 3 years’ experience in Salesforce Admin role and a Salesforce Certified Administrator
•    Demonstrable experience in building, configuring, and delivering Salesforce solutions.
•    Experience of leading a team and building solid relationships with stakeholders.
•    Experience with marketing cloud

This is a permanent position and will require someone to be based out of the office in Newcastle for 2 days per week. The role comes with competitive salary and generous benefits package.
