Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 base (DOE) + Double OTE + Benefits

The organisation:

Founded in 2006, our client is a UK based telecommunications company who specialise in providing connectivity, cloud services, and network infrastructure solutions to businesses. Setting themselves apart from other ISP's, our client has built their own fibre network and owns the process end-to-end, giving them full control and responsibility over their network, delivery, infrastructure, and the whole customer experience.

What you'll be doing:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving a high performance culture within an experienced new business sales team. Having just had a record start to the year, the team is already incredibly driven but you will lead the motivation for further new business opportunities across a broad range of verticals. Leading from the front with client engagement and market penetration, you will support your team with landing deals where possible. Coaching and further development of the team is key, during this period of high growth. This business are investing heavily in the development and growth of the sales team, you will be expected to do the same with time.

Day to Day:

  • To support the execution of industry vertical business plans and account strategies.
  • Help successfully deliver the commercial team strategy and targets.
  • Manage the team in engaging with our existing and new customers to build a pipeline of incremental business opportunities.
  • Set and track KPIs and personal goals with each team member
  • Provide performance reporting per team member and the team to feed into the board reports.
  • Coach, develop and motivate the team.
  • To be the face and personality of the business, positive can-do attitude, highlighting the powerful proposition of our product/s.
  • Overall responsibility for the management of our sales data and its integrity.
  • Support the implementation of any Sales process, tooling, or collateral changes.
  • Provide customer and market input to help shape future products and improved pricing and commercial terms.
  • Support the development of industry specific propositions and market messaging.
  • Attend and support external trade and company hosted events.
  • Attract, develop and retain talent.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background of working in a fast-paced B2B sales environment and will be an industry expert, bringing their expertise and solid management to the team. Your leadership ability is essential to drive the team to further success, supporting the organisation's goal to take over the corporate London market.

The requirements:

  • You are a leader and can communicate well your ideas and approach to a variety of stakeholders and peers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced B2B sales environment (Telecoms/IT preferred).
  • The ability to be positive, possess a great work ethic and passionate to overachieve.
  • An ability to prioritise workload and meet targets set by others.
  • An ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision making with senior-level audiences.
  • Take personal responsibility to meet commitments and actively seek additional responsibility.
  • You have experience of working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools, preferably Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Computer literate.
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Work to all sales KPI's both weekly and monthly.
