Managing a small sales team, you will be responsible for:
To oversee the client account management by the sales team staff and to manage his or her client accounts as appropriate.
To work in conjunction with the Business Development team to negotiate and secure new business.
Manage sales enquiries through the system
Support the Purchasing and Administration function in the sourcing of suppliers through providing technical expertise as required.
Deal with quotations and contracts
To oversee the negotiations with clients and get directly involved with negotiations (as appropriate) on potential costs and business terms.
You will be designated your own accounts and oversee all client related account management, order progressing and aftermarket operations as required.
Oversee the activity relating to all promotional calls and visits.
Prepare for and ensure appropriate attendance at relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
Previous experience as a Sales Manager in an engineering / manufacturing environment
Managerial experience is essential
You will need to have worked in the Aerospace or a closely related industry
An analytical and strategic approach
Any experience with components, bearings, seals, gaskets, fasteners would be beneficial
