This role combines new business development and account management, with selling across the Events industry.

If you’re passionate about the Events industry and love talking to people, our client is one of the leading nationwide equipment hire company in the industry. Our highly dedicated team are committed to delivering award winning hire solutions and customer service to both private and commercial customers supplying equipment to events of all shapes and sizes. Our equipment can often be seen at many leading sporting events, corporate hospitality, exhibitions, conferences, weddings, high-profile events, countless celebrations and parties.

Reporting to: Group Sales Director

Sales Manager - The Role…

Your role will involve travel and responsibilities will include:

- Developing area sales activity to ensure targets are being met

- Develop relationships for all existing clients and maximise value where possible.

- Development of new key accounts

- Manage day to day sales related enquiries

- Prepare regional sales figures and reports on a weekly basis

- Attend networking opportunities on behalf of Thorns Group

Full product training will be provided this position and is ideal for someone who is commercially focussed.

Sales Manager - The Person…

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Target driven

- Highly organised and motivated

- Able to work autonomously

- Able to work in a vibrant and competitive environment

- Able to work calmly under pressure

It would be advantageous for the applicant to have previous B2B sales experience.

The applicant must also hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car for business use.
