Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer who can provide internal sales support to our field-based sales team, handle reactive customer enquiries, account manage customer expectations, and provide after sales customer service and technical support? BASIC SALARY: Up to £42,000 starting salary (dependant on your relevant experience)

· Team bonus paid quarterly circa £3000 per annum.

· 22 days leave (rising to 25) + all Bank holidays.
· Early finish on a Friday.
· 1 day per week hybrid – 4 days office based.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer, Internal Sales, Technical Support - Drives, Motors, Industrial

Reporting into the Internal Sales Manager - and as part of a large internal team split over multiple sites, your role will be varied technically and commercially, no two days will be the same!

Our existing customer base is diverse, covering materials handling, food and beverage manufacturers, process and packaging machinery, converting, bulk handling, lifting industry, milling, heavy engineering and OEM’s etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Engineer, Internal Sales, Technical Support - Drives, Motors, Industrial

You will work with new and existing customers, managing machinery manufacturers, systems integrated and OEM's. You'll be the focal point of contact, account managing, provide after sales customer service and sound technical advice and providing strong support to our external sales team in the field too.

In addition, you will:
· Account manage the expectations of our existing customers to cover all their needs, requirements, providing customer service and technical support.
· Support our external sales team.
· Be customer facing where needed to build better relationships.
· Assist in providing accurate quotations.
· Ensure accurate customer records are maintained on our CRM systems.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Engineer, Internal Sales, Technical Support - Drives, Motors, Industrial

As our internal based Sales Engineer, you'll have:
· A strong mechanical engineering background gained from sales, technical support, quality, maintenance, service, or a like
· Had customer facing B2B experience in a suitable role.
· Worked with appropriate technical products and / or systems.
· A full driving license as you will be customer facing when you are ready.
