Our client is a well-established freight forwarder who is now looking due to expansion for a Sales and Business Development Manager to join the team and who wish to benefit from there future growth.

My client has grown from a start-up operation in 2000, to a £35 M Turnover business with 25 dedicated staff. Main markets for Sea freight are USA/Canada, Far East, Indian Sub-continent and Australasia and as well as FCL Import/Export Business worldwide, they operate their own LCL Consolidations to/from Far East & North America and are a bonded NVOCC carrier. There Airfreight is global and they are CASS Associates and deal directly with Airlines

Working with a network of independent likeminded agents throughout the world they are always keen to make new beneficial alliances.
We are looking for an ambitious Sales and Business Development Managers to develop their Air and Sea freight sectors - export and import:
The ideal candidates will be already in a senior position either in Operations or Sales within those sectors and be able to demonstrate a good level of success in sales and operational knowledge in Air &/or Sea sectors.
The job(s) will entail the development manager having an active management role within the department so as well as being able to bring new business on board, will have a hands on role in how that new business is managed and put into operation. A total hands on approach to sales, operations and profitability.

The role is based in Bradford but the candidates can be based anywhere in the North of England as remote computer links to the operational and sales system can be accessed online and dependent on the approach of the specific candidate. The successful candidate can work both from the office and from home with full facilities provided at each location including Lap Top/I-Pad/ Mobile Phone.

Salary commensurate with Experience
Bonus scheme
Company Car &/or Car Allowance (Candidates choice) plus full expenses

Pension Scheme - 5% of Salary
Mobile Phone and Lap top will be provided.
