INTRODUCTION
Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing provider of turn-key energy efficiency and retrofit solutions, serving both public and private sector clients and landlords across the UK.  As part of that continued growth they require a leader to coordinate, manage and deliver best in class retrofit solutions.
  
LOCATION
West Midlands, operating from a Birmingham office base – the role requires regular travel across the UK, plus occasional overnight stays.
  
THE ROLE
The Retrofit Assessment Manager role is multi-faceted and requires leadership, technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.  The role entails:
  • Leading and co-ordinating a team of 25+ retrofit assessors working UK-wide
  • Take the lead on training and personal development of the team – working with both experienced colleagues and new trainees.
  • Ensuring the organisation meets with current best practice, building and energy regulations across all operations.
  • Engaging with senior colleagues in other functions to support the success and growth of the business.
THE PERSON NEEDED

The Retrofit Assessment Manager role requires a balance of key skills and experience.  The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • 2 years+ hands-on experience of residential retrofit assessments e.g. assessing
  • measures under government schemes such as ECO4, SHDF and HUG.
  • A relevant industry qualification e.g. DEA Accreditation and Level 3 PAS 2035
  • Retrofit Assessment accreditation.
  • Strong operational and communication skills.
  • Current UK drivers licence and the flexibility to work across the UK with regular travel.
THE REWARDS
£40-45K Basic salary + discretionary company bonus
