Removals Operations Manager
Alchemy is collaborating with a prominent company within the Removals industry to find a skilled Removals Operations Manager to join their team in High Wycombe.
The Removals Operations Manager will play a pivotal role, overseeing daily removal operations, workforce planning and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing job specifications and allocating staff and vehicles accordingly based on removal surveys.
- Serve as the liaison between the operations department and road crews.
- Daily supervision of removals dairy operations.
- Monitoring removal crews arrival times, progress, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinating 'Third party' services for removals operations.
- Organising temporary removal staff as required.
- Scheduling inbound and outbound removal shipments from the warehouse.
- Oversee training, recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention.
- Monitor branch performance and deliver monthly reports.
- Participate actively in removal sales and business development.
- Supervise warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Removal Operations Manager is preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills and suitable ability to communicate with removal staff at all levels.
- Skilled in effective planning and adept at solving problems efficiently.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Highly organized, and motivated, with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency in IT.
