Our client is a highly successful and rapidly growing Peer to Peer lender with nationwide coverage who finances SME’s and property investors and developers to help them grow.
As a Regional Support Director in our clients Relationship team you will join a professional, motivated and committed business and be responsible for supporting the Regional Director in the efficient completion of loan drawdowns.
Instrumental in the loan drawdown process, you will act as the key point of contact to all professional parties involved in the process including brokers; valuers; solicitors; borrowers etc. You will also be responsible for keeping all internal parties fully appraised of progress for each loan.
You Will Need
You will need to be an experienced commercial or corporate banker or lender with strong relationship, deal execution and credit risk skills who has a strong track record of lending to SME’s and / or property developers and investors. This is a work from home peripatetic position where discipline and motivation is required - the ideal candidate will live in South Wales.
Instruct and regularly liaise with valuers, solicitors and other professionals
Liaise with brokers and borrowers and keep them fully updated on progress during the loan drawdown
Manage and deal with loan drawdown queries in an efficient manner
Raise any areas of concern in a timely manner to allow remedial action to be taken
Input accurate and up to date information on to the Customer Relationship Management system
Consider and comment on complex deals prior to Regional Director input
Support the Regional Director in completion of credit reports
Following submission of each credit report, liaise and work closely with the Credit Team
Act as conduit between the Regional Director and other departments within the Company
Field calls when the Regional Director is unavailable
Proactively chase outstanding deals with broker/ borrower
Undertake adhoc project work and initiatives as directed
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Be a role model by doing things wholeheartedly, communicating with passion and enthusiasm
Field Based Role requiring travel and Customer/Broker visits
