Are you an experienced Regional Sales Manager within the Travel & Tourism? Do you have a proven track record in field-based roles, nurturing and building industry partnerships / relationships? We have the role for you!!

We are working with an award-winning Luxury Hotel Collection, who are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager, to join their team (covering the South of England).

The successful candidate will report to the Sales & Marketing Director and assist the team in marketing the hotels to travel agents, tour operators and directly to consumers. The roles main area of focus will be to promote the brand with training to travel agencies and tour operators across southern England as well as attending trade roadshows, consumer events and organising and hosting fam trips.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales visits - regular sales visits to travel agents and tour operators for presentations and product training.
  • Organising trade fam trips, press trips and hosting events in the UK.
  • Representing and selling the company products at consumer shows and trade events.
  • Sales support - assisting the Sales & Marketing Director with sales and contracting appointments.
  • New business development - assisting in the research of new business from specialist tour operators and new groups business.
  • Ensuring the travel trade database and the Premier agent loyalty club is effectively managed and regularly updated.
  • Sending regular newsletters via email and social media to the travel trade on product updates, special offers and hosted events.

Experience:

  • Candidates will have at least 3 years' experience working in the UK travel industry from a sales or marketing background. The role will be based in Southern England with easy access required to London and the South East.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Well organised, creative and computer literate - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Motivated and pro-active and able to work on your own initiative as the role requires remote working across the UK.

The Package:

  • The working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17.30 with weekends required for trade events, consumer shows and hosted fam trips.
  • Salary range £38k - £42k depending on experience + bonus + holiday concession.
  • Company car provided (clean driving licence essential) and Company pension scheme.7
