Regional Logistics Manager
Do you want to work with a leading manufacturing business with a strong Global operation and and an expertise that helps 450,000 people every day.
Your role will work in a culture of Lean techniques and continious improvement and will be part of a European Operations Team. You will be responsible for the smooth movement of stock across the region and building effective working relationships with 3rd party supplirs and distributors to drives the company's services forward and reduce costs.
You will hold scheduled meeting with the team to review Supply Chain performance, ensure the team are delivering and exceeding service level targets and set performance metrics, ensuring that physical inventory is controlled and managed and that records accurately reflect physical stock 'on-hand'.
You will have a core focus on the tactical and strategic operation of the regional DC (goods-in, picking & packing and shipping), courier & transport opeartions across the region (as delivery by 3rd parties) and all satellite & 3rd party warehouseing operations.
You will develop and maintain a capacity planning road map for all operational areas.
You will also have a team of 4 direct line managers.
To be suitable for this role you will have strong Logistics Management experience working across multiple regions and operating an FMCG or 'Distribution Model' supply chain.
You will have experience working in a Quality Management environment, perhaps gained with medical devices, food, pharmaceutical or similar.
You will have strong Logistics Manager experience working in a high volume product environment managing the movement and shipping of small products being shipped out in high volumes.
You will have end to end supply chain knowledge and willl be a great leader of people to support and nurture a team that maximises individual performances.
You will be an analytical person with a strong ability to plan and solve complex problems.
